Ran's New Year Gaming Challenge!

My list is currently at 97 entries and I have decided to do another random games week, this time though I am going to use a different method. Rather that using the random game script to determine what games I am playing unless I am invited to play a multiplayer game, I shall use the script to generate a shortlist of 5 games.

Those 5 games I shall attempt to finish during the week, if I finish all 5 games then I will generate another list.

This will continue until my birthday.

The standard proviso regarding multiplayer gaming applies, direct invites work, but 2 or more friends playing a multiplayer game I can join counts as an invite.

The list is:

This looks like an interesting list, we have an FPS, a top down shooter, an arcade style game, a turn based game and a casual game that I find hard to describe.

We shall see how we go.

See Emoticon List

GrubLord: Go, Ran, go!

Syfro: I wasn't aware you *could* finish Team Arena. Guess you've got your work cut out for you.

Ranneko: Play and win each map in single player. Been far too long since I last played Q3, I am so inaccurate with the railgun now.

Lunzo: Won't Galactic Civilizations 2 take months of play time to finish all of single player?

GrubLord: He mentioned that, yeah... maybe that's exactly what he'll do?

Ranneko: I can try playing a short game.

For a status update. Zombie Shooter - Completed on the first day, very short game though a lot of fun. Quake 3 Arena - Finished Monday Night, would have been finished sooner were I not occupied with a game of Blood Bowl against RJorb Osmos - Close to the end but close to freaking well just declaring it as a game I don't want to finish or see ever again due to its frustrating nature. Castle Crashers (360) - I'm not even halfway through this, just up to the volcano, need to buy more health potions, I'm increasingly reliant upon them for the boss fights.

Ranneko: Strange there were a lot more line breaks when I wrote that last comment.
